Tjarda Pieters

Tjarda Pieters studied Dutch law in Leiden and has worked as a lawyer specialized in employment law, as a subdistrict court judge and as a justice at the Amsterdam Court of Appeal. Tjarda has been associated with ReulingSchutte as a business mediator, arbitrator and binding advisor since the end of 2022.

She also has extensive experience chairing various complaints committees and in conducting confidential research for ReulingSchutte, both in terms of person-oriented and cultural research. Tjarda holds the SVBP diploma as a private investigator.

As a mediator, Tjarda specializes in disputes in the field of employment law. In addition, she has extensive experience in guiding mediations with an Executive Board or between a Board and the Supervisory Board, within (semi) public organizations, healthcare institutions, partnerships, in the cultural sector and within the business community.

Tjarda uses her judicial background and experience for the benefit of her work as a mediator, always reaching out to help parties find the best solution. Her motto is: a careful and diligent, swift process is in the interest of both parties.
